Christmas Around The World
November-December ‘24

As the holiday season approaches, we are excited to launch our annual fundraising campaign, "Christmas Around The World." At CRCF Church, we believe that the true spirit of Christmas is following Jesus’ example by giving, sharing, and reaching out to those in need. This year, from November 17 to December 8, 2024 we are embarking on a mission to make a global impact by raising up to $45,000 for several missions partners around the world. With your support, we can bring hope, love, joy, and the Gospel of Jesus to people in need across the globe!

Why “Christmas Around The World”? We Are Authentic Witnesses!

Global Perspective: Especially during the holidays, we understand the importance of extending Christ’s love and compassion to all corners of the world. "Christmas Around The World" allows us to connect with and support missions partners who are working tirelessly to uplift communities in different countries.

Transforming Lives: The funds we raise during this campaign will help transform lives by providing essential resources, education, healthcare, and humanitarian assistance to those who need it the most. Your generosity will make a significant impact on the world.

How You Can Get Involved:

This year, our Christmas Around The World campaign is running from November 17 to December 8, 2024. We invite you to be part of this global movement! Your contributions, big or small, will go a long way in bringing joy, hope and relief to those in need. Here's how you can participate:

Donate: Consider making a financial contribution to the Christmas Around the World campaign. Every dollar counts and brings us closer to our $45,000 goal.

Spread the Word: Share our mission with your friends, family, and colleagues. Encourage them to join in and support our vision.

Pray: Lift our missions partners, their communities, and our campaign up in your prayers. Your spiritual support is invaluable.

"Christmas Around The World" is not just a fundraising campaign; it's a celebration of the global unity, compassion, and love that the Christmas story represents. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of countless individuals and communities across the globe. We invite you to be a part of this mission and help us reach our goal of $45,000. Let us unite in the true spirit of Christmas and spread God’s hope, love, and joy to all corners of the world.

Each year, we display a “Christmas Tree Donation Tracker”. This year, we/ll have a Christmas Tree in our church lobby and each ornament on the tree represents $100 dollars. Watch the tree get beautifully decorated from bottom to top as donations come in!

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us make this holiday season brighter for those in need.

Guayacanes, Dominican Republic
(Cariboo Road Outreach)

For the past year, we have been actively ministering in the Dominican Republic, establishing "Cariboo Road Outreach" to serve children, teens, and young adults. Our mission is to foster spiritual growth, support their walk with the Lord, and reach out to their families and communities. Through this initiative, we are meeting both spiritual and physical needs while sharing the gospel.

Although we’ve connected with several churches in the area, we are also forming our own dedicated team and program under Cariboo Road Outreach. Located in the Guayacanes area, southeast of Santo Domingo, we are exploring options to acquire property to create a center for ministry operations. Our vision includes hosting an annual kids’ camp, ministering to families, and strengthening the local church through the next generation.

In February 2025, we are bringing a team to explore infrastructure, including establishing an office to serve as a base for ongoing missions. Pastor Reg led a successful outreach kids camp this year, which included preaching and teaching in the area, laying a strong foundation for the future of Cariboo Road Outreach.

Thailand
(Pattaya & Bangkok)

We are supporting a couple projects from two ministries in Thailand this Christmas, each dedicated to bringing hope and renewal.

Tamar Center in Pattaya (www.tamarcenter.org) The Tamar Center is a sanctuary in a city marked by its red-light districts. Through love, counselling rooted in biblical principles, and vocational training, the center supports women involved in prostitution seeking to leave the bars and start new lives.

During the holidays, the Tamar Center will host a Christmas party at their Outreach Center in the Redlight District for 40 to 60 women, featuring food, gifts, and an encouraging message. The main event involves distributing 1,500 gift bags to women in local bars, each containing a Christmas booklet explaining the holiday's meaning, invitations to vocational training and English classes, a cookie from Tamar's bakery, and a wooden keychain inscribed with “Jesus Loves You” in Thai. Additionally, an internal Christmas party will celebrate the 23 women and 18 children currently residing at the center. These initiatives rely on generous contributions, helping Tamar Center continue its mission of sharing the true spirit of Christmas with those in need.

True Friend Foundation in Bangkok (https://truefriendfoundation.com) The True Friend Foundation is a public-benefit organization in Bangkok dedicated to empowering the poor and socially disadvantaged through addiction recovery support, disaster relief, education, and career assistance, and by fostering self-sustaining lives.

Each year, the foundation hosts a Christmas evangelistic celebration for three squatter communities in Rangsit, Pathumthani, engaging with 250 families and impacting over 600 people through street worship, house visits, prayer, and the distribution of practical gifts. This holiday season, the celebration will include a children’s party featuring food, games, skits, and gifts for about 70-80 children and 30 adults. Additionally, the True Friend community, comprising staff, interns, and members of the rehab and aftercare programs, will gather for their annual retreat focused on recreation and spiritual restoration.

Slovakia
(Pastor Marek)

In April 2024, a team of nine from CRCF traveled to Sabinov, Slovakia, to support the Roma church in Jarovnice, led by Pastor Marek Olah, by building a pavilion to accommodate the growing number of believers gathering for worship. Jarovnice is home to the largest Roma settlement in Slovakia, where over 7,000 people live in challenging conditions with limited access to heat, electricity, and clean surroundings. Facing discrimination and a lack of opportunities, the Roma people are often marginalized within Slovakian society. Yet, in the midst of these difficulties, the church in Jarovnice has become a beacon of hope, sharing the love and grace of Jesus and welcoming new believers into a supportive community.

The church also meets critical physical needs, offering daily meals to the hungry through a community restaurant. During our visit, we were blessed to witness around 50 baptisms, including many couples, as people responded to the gospel and committed their lives to Christ. Under Pastor Marek’s leadership, the church is planting new congregations in other villages and has plans to open a training school to equip members in various ministries, such as outreach, youth, worship, and small groups.

As the church grows, so does the need for more space and infrastructure, including a paved lot, road access, and a shelter for a partner church. This Christmas, CRCF is coming together to raise funds to support these essential projects, helping the church in Slovakia expand its reach and continue bringing the hope of the gospel to one of Europe’s most marginalized communities. Please join us in prayer for this inspiring ministry.

Freedom Session in Africa
(Kenya & Nigeria)

Freedom Session is on a mission - to bring their program to Africa! We run Freedom Session here at CRCF Church, and we are excited to partner with them and support this ministry in Kenya and Nigeria.

What is Freedom Session? Freedom Session is a powerful, healing-discipleship program that guides individuals on a God-inspired journey to rewrite their stories with freedom and purpose. Through biblical teaching, small groups, and personal reflection, participants find healing in areas such as addiction, broken relationships, and emotional wounds. By addressing core issues like shame, fear, and past trauma, Freedom Session equips people to overcome destructive habits, embrace God’s truth, and live abundantly. This transformative program is accessible for churches, homes, and online, making it effective for individuals from all walks of life, regardless of their church background.

Freedom Session in Africa
We are excited to partner in empowering and equipping pastors in Kenya and Nigeria learning about Freedom Session through their upcoming conferences from January 16-26, 2025. Recognizing the transformative impact this initiative will have on 200 pastors and their communities, we are pleased to provide support for the essentials that will make these gatherings accessible and impactful.

In collaboration with the teams in Africa, we will help provide event spaces, meals, and resources for all attending pastors. This partnership allows each leader to fully participate without financial burden, enabling them to focus on the training, encouragement, and renewal they will experience. Together, we are making a meaningful investment in God’s Kingdom and the local church, helping pastors continue their work with strengthened faith and new insights for ministry.

Thank you for joining us in this powerful mission to serve and uplift pastors who are faithfully guiding their communities!
