Our Ministries

Kids Church

Cariboo Kids Church is an exciting place where children make friends and grow in their faith. We love our church's children and consider it a great honour to be serving them in a safe and secure environment.

Nursery

Our nursery is open every service for children from 0 to 2 years. This is a safe & friendly place with lots of toys and resources to keep your child engaged. There's also a nursing room for mothers to care for their children in a discreet environment. Children must be potty trained before they move on up to our preschool group.

Preschool (ages 3 to 4 years old)

We have a fun class specially designed for children aged 3 to 4 who are toilet trained. They enjoy playtime, songs, Bible teaching, snack, craft and lots of love from the volunteers.

Cariboo Kids (Kindergarten-Grade 5)

This is a terrific place for your child to be. Cariboo Kid's Church starts right at the beginning of both services. After registering in the lobby, you can bring your child downstairs to our Kid's Chapel where your child(ren) will take part in playtime activities, worship, games, Bible memorization, small groups and Biblical teachings all wrapped up in a lot of fun.

In-Service Parenting Area

If you wish to stay in the adult service with your baby or toddler, there is a special area dedicated for you at the back of the church. This area allows parents to be part of the service, yet have a quick way to exit if your child is unsettled or active. Please take advantage of this area if you wish to be in the service with your child.

 Junior Youth: Grades 6 - 7

If you are in grade 6 or 7, we would love to have you join us on Sunday mornings when we hang out!

We head downstairs to our youth room right after worship during the 11am service. You can expect a great time with friends, crazy games and awesome teaching focused on the bible which will help you grow stronger in your faith in Jesus. We have an amazing team of volunteers -- if you fit the age, come join us!

Senior Youth: Grades 8 - 12

Our Youth Ministry here at CRCF is something you'll want to be a part of if you're in high school!

Our goal is to have great times, while growing closer to God and reaching out to friends around us who don’t yet know Him. We meet Sundays after worship at the 11am service and Tuesday nights at 7pm at the church.

Our year is filled with crazy events, worship nights, missions trips and Youth Camp. We would love to have you join us!

Young Adults

We have an awesome community of young adults here at CRCF.  If you are looking for a solid community of friends centered on God, come join us!

We have a Young Adult Life Group that meets every Wednesday night at the church at 7pm. Once a year we go away on a retreat together, and we fill the year with events to get together and have fun.

Men's Ministry

Power Hour

The Men’s Ministry holds a monthly fellowship called Power Hour.  This is held on the 3rd Saturday morning of each month at 8am and is a time of testimony, food and fellowship.

The men also have a regular prayer ministry that is a great place for connection. Five teams of men pray together on a 5-week rotation on Sunday mornings before the service.  This ministry connects men while building the church in prayer.

Men’s Conference

Once a year, we host a Men’s Conference.  It’s a chance for men to be challenged by the teaching of a guest minister and fellowship with each other.  This is a highlight of our calendar year!

King’s Men

Our King’s Men meet every Thursday morning at 7am in the cafe for an hour of prayer.  They pray for our church, community and our world.  Afterwards, they go to a local restaurant for breakfast and fellowship.

Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry sponsors a mid-week LIFEGROUPS specifically for women.  They meet on Wednesday mornings (childcare is provided) and Wednesday evenings during a LIFEGROUP season.

A highlight of our year is the Women’s Conference held annually in the Spring.  This is a wonderful time for women to come together to be blessed by the teaching of a guest speaker and encourage each other through prayer -- it’s also lots of fun!

Young Families

Join us on Wednesday evenings for Family Night!

Designed for young families (couples and single parents), this evening begins at 6:30pm and includes a children’s program.  It’s a great way for parents to connect while the kids have some fun! The children’s program is designed for kids up to Grade 6. There is also childcare available for infants.

Young Families is a LIFE Group — we meet only during LIFE Group season.

Marriage Prep Coaching

Marriage Preparation Coaching for those who are engaged or considering marriage is an important precursor to a healthy, lasting union.

Our goals:

  • To help prevent marriage and family breakdown by enabling couples to be better prepared for marriage.  In particular, our goal is to help couples become aware of specific areas that may be a challenge to them in their relationship.
  • To provide accurate and helpful information in the following areas:  communication, conflict resolution, family relationships, time and money management, sexuality, commitment and covenant, spiritual relationship.
  • To provide opportunity for couples to understand each other’s family background, perceptions and values.

The format of these sessions will be focused around each couple working together using questions sent to you in advance.  Couples will answer the questions individually, without sharing the answers with each other.  The coaching sessions will provide you with a safe place to share your answers with each other and encourage a healthy dialogue around your responses.

For more details or if you have questions, contact Pastors Bruce or Eva Robinson.

Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship’s Celebrate Recovery is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery. We are changed as we share our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving our life’s problems. We do this by working through the principles that allow us to grow spiritually and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups and habits. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and — most importantly — a stronger personal relationship with others and our loving and forgiving Higher Power, Jesus Christ. We achieve this through praise, worship, informative lessons, personal testimony, fellowship and small groups. If you like to find out more about CR at CRCF or join the meetings, please contact Bruce Olson (bruce.crcf@gmail.com).

Celebrate Recovery:
Every Friday evening.

6:00 – 6:30 Dinner (optional)
7:00 – 8:00 Main Meeting
8:00 – 9:00 Small Groups

Steps To Freedom
Monday evenings @ 7pm

Steps to Freedom is a professionally-developed, 25-week program that has brought about long lasting changes for those who have participated in it. This program is sponsored by the ministry of Celebrate Recovery that works in partnership with our church.Making lasting, positive, changes in your life is no easy task. Many of us long to see ourselves free from destructive habits and thought patterns. Examples of this might be: low self-esteem, addictions, overwhelming fear, eating struggles, bitterness, grief, dependency issues and more. The program runs on Monday nights, in gender-specific groups, and is based on the life-changing principles of Jesus Christ. The program is highly confidential and participants walk through the program with a coach and manual.
